Eligibility Requirements

Pakistani applicants must show:

  • Strong ties to Pakistan (family, job, property, etc.)
  • Ability to financially support your visit.
  • A clear travel purpose (tourism, family visit, business)
  • Intent to return to Pakistan after your visit

  • MRV fee: USD 185 (non-refundable)

    • Affidavit of Support (Form I-134) from a U.S. sponsor (optional, for family visits)

    Q:How long will you stay in the U.S.?

    A:"Two weeks" or "About 10–15 days." (Keep it realistic and consistent with your documents.)

    Where will you stay?
    Q:Where will you be staying in the U.S.?

    A:Mention hotel bookings or hosts address (if staying with family/friends).

    Employment Status
    Q:What do you do for a living?

    A:"I work as a [Job Title] at [Company Name] for the past [X] years."

    Q:How much is your monthly income?

    A:Be honest and match your documents/bank statements.

    Financial Support
    Q:Who is paying for your trip?

    A:"I will bear all my travel expenses" OR "My [brother/sponsor] will support my trip" (make sure you have documents to prove this).

    Family or Friends in the U.S.
    Q:Do you have any relatives or friends in the U.S.?

    A:Say yes or no truthfully. If yes, mention their relationship and visa/immigration status.

    Travel History
    Q:Have you traveled outside Pakistan before?

    A:List countries you have visited (especially if you have been to Schengen, UK, Canada, UAE, etc.)

    Return Assurance
    Q:Why will you return to Pakistan?

    A:Talk about job, family, property, business, education, etc. — anything that ties you back to your home country.

    Family Background
    Q:Are you married? Do you have children?

    A:Be truthful and consistent with your documents.

    Miscellaneous Questions
    Q:Have you been refused a visa before? Q:What is your host’s profession in the U.S.? Q:What places will you visit? Q:Do you plan to work or study in the U.S.?
    Tip: Always answer NO if asked, “Do you plan to work or overstay in the U.S.?”
